Palo Lajciak MSc |Mo-Cu porphyry Deposit | Exploration Geologist

Moly Mines Ltd.

Exploration Target

Mo, Cu-Fe sulfides | Feasibility Study

Project Location

The Spinifex Ridge Cu – Mo deposit is located about 50km northeast of Marble Bar in the Pilbara region, Western Australia.

Geology Overview

The Spinifex Ridge (Coppins Gap) represents significant Mo-Cu deposit developed on north side of the Mount Edgar batholith in East Pilbara granite-greenstone terrane. The deposit (estimated 470 million tons at 0.06% Mo and 0.09% Cu) is associated with a suite of magnetite-bearing, quartz-plagioclase porphyries and porphyritic granodiorites intruded into basalts and rhyolites. The mineralization consists of a series of multiphase stockwork Cu – Mo bearing veins.
